Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.

My "WHY" for running as a Student Visionary for LLS stems from a genuine belief in the power of collective effort to transform lives. As part of this cause, I envision a future where no individual has to endure the hardships brought on by blood cancers, where treatments are more effective and accessible, and where families receive the support they need to navigate through the difficulties of these diseases. I am committed to fostering a community of empathy, understanding, and resilience that will stand in solidarity with those battling blood cancers. By leveraging my leadership skills, innovative thinking, and determination, I aim to rally students, educators, and local communities together to create a positive ripple effect in the fight against leukemia & lymphoma, bringing hope and healing to those who need it most. Together, let us be the catalyst for change and lead the charge towards a future free from the burden of blood cancers. As a passionate and driven supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I am running as a student visionary with an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by blood cancers. Having witnessed the devastating effects of leukemia & lymphoma on close friends and family members, I have been deeply moved to take action and be a catalyst for change. With an understanding of the challenges these patients face, I am determined to advocate for increased funding for research, patient support programs, and educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness about blood cancers and the importance of early detection.

I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.

This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

  • Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
  • Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
  • Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
